Ecofishers represents all anglers in NSW especially the families who may only cast a line at holiday time a couple of times a year.

The face of Ecofishers and the management team may have changed but the fight goes on.
Probably the biggest issue we have confronted for some time is the current review of bag and size limits.
Fisheries are proposing to halve bag limits across the board. Just like the bad old days of the previous Government there is no scientific evidence to support such a draconian measure for even one species let alone every one of them. Other projects we are working on at the moment include review of Marine Parks, access to boat ramps, unsustainable and/or illegal commercial fishing methods in estuaries and beaches, mulloway review (still), more research into Grey Nurse shark, bait FAD at South West Rocks, protection of Rec Fishing Havens from commercial exploitation.
